ADVENT IS NOT CHRISTMAS I MISS ADVENT  It is one of my favorite religious traditions.   When I became a presiding elder I realized that many churches do not share my love and the time of preparation before Christmas.   This is one tradition I hope the church does not throw away because we do not understand its significance.
